- Above Reproach: A Study of the Ordination Practices of Southern Baptist Churches – This study, completed in 2019, surveyed 555 Southern Baptist ministers and deacons from 34 states to identify the current ordination practices of Southern Baptist churches. The study was also featured by Baptist Press (coverage found here).
- As Far As The East Is From the West: A Study on Lostness in Kentucky – This study, completed in 2016, examined indicators of lostness throughout the state of Kentucky and identified areas most in need of church planting.
- The State of Baptist Associations – This study, completed in 2017, surveyed 448 Southern Baptist pastors and associational leaders to discover the current perceived value of Baptist associations. - Church Safety & Security Survey – This study was completed in 2018, and it provided insights into the current safety and security measures undertaken by churches.
- Pastor Search Survey Results – This study was completed in 2018, and it identified the best practices of effective pastor search committees.
- Survey Reveals Insights into Southern Baptists’ Cooperation During Pandemic – Early in the COVID pandemic, Southern Baptists worked together to keep churches focused on the Great Commission in the midst of great challenges. This study revealed the organizations that were most helpful to churches during the early days of the pandemic.
- Early Research for Potential Financial Impact on Churches From Pandemic – This study, conducted during the early days of the pandemic in 2020, surveyed nearly 80 Southern Baptist church and associational leaders from nine different states regarding their level of preparedness for a potential COVID-19 financial storm. Thankfully, the financial impact was not as devastating as initially anticipated.
